Exciting landmark New Garden Square Development starts onsite
After successfully achieving full planning consent, Glancy Nicholls are excited to be working with Moda Living to deliver their new build-to-rent community within the green and leafy setting of Edgbaston.

The scheme will complement Moda’s two existing developments within Birmingham. Situated less than a mile from the city centre, and directly opposite the new metro stop, New Garden Square will provide all the facilities and conveniences expected of a city centre development within the leafy setting of Edgbaston.

As the latest addition to Edgbaston Village, the completed scheme will provide 392 new state-of-the-art homes, a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes, and best-in-class amenity spaces. Utilising high quality external materials such as stone cladding, the modern design reflects and complements its historic setting.

Set within the wider New Garden Square Masterplan, the development will benefit from a new green public square and the mixed-use developments planned for the area. It is also within easy walking distance of everything Edgbaston offers such as prime retail, leisure, dining, and commercial space, including several Michelin and award-winning restaurants and bars.

We are excited to be working alongside Winvic and Moda to bring this scheme to realisation. As the first phase of the New Garden Square Masterplan for Calthorpe Estates, it will be the catalyst for the ongoing regeneration of this important site, providing high quality living within a green and sustainable context, complementing the future phases.
