Watermill All Through SEND School in Chell, Stoke-on-Trent, handed over

Last week, GNA attended Watermill All Through SEND School in Chell, Stoke-on-Trent, to observe the handover of the new 2,000m² school campus extension.

Designed by Glancy Nicholls Architects for Stoke-on-Trent City Council and delivered by Seddon Construction, the new facilities provide specialist accommodation for 120 pupils, with capacity for up to 160 pupils and class sizes of 15–20 students.

The school has been designed with a fabric-first approach to energy efficiency and achieves an EPC A rating, with photovoltaic panels installed across the roof to support the building’s energy performance.

The project brings together a range of specialist facilities designed to support the needs of pupils and staff, creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for the school community.
