Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Research & Development Centre planning application submitted

We’re pleased to announce that Glancy Nicholls Architects has submitted and secured validation for a new Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Research & Development Centre at Longbridge, working closely with Sterling Pharmaceutical Limited since 2023.

The proposed development will transform a 2.1hectare brownfield site at Longbridge West into a high-quality, world-class facility focused on the manufacture and development of bespoke medicines.

The new centre will create a high-skilled employment hub and support new jobs in the area, provide approximately 35,160 sq m of new manufacturing and R&D space, create a new landmark presence along Bristol Road South and provide 47 car parking spaces, including 4 accessible bays
The project represents an exciting opportunity to support the growth of the pharmaceutical sector while contributing to the continued regeneration of Longbridge West.
