Celebrating a Successful Year and Promotions to Kickstart 2023

GNA are delighted to announce three new promotions as a fantastic kickstart to 2023 for the practice. Congratulations to Danielle Swann and Nick Coldrey for promotion to Associate Director positions and to Jennifer Allen to the position of Associate. These promotions continue to expand and deliver growth for our team in our Birmingham Studio.

Alongside this GNA are celebrating a successful year in 2022 where we saw the progression and completion of a number of key projects, a few of which are highlighted below.

Danielle benefits the practice with extensive experience spanning 15 years in the Construction Industry. She has designed and delivered award-winning projects across a range of sectors, including Residential, Healthcare, Cultural and Education schemes, and manages a team delivering both new-build and refurbishment projects.

Danielle aims to continue to bring a creative and methodical approach to design in her new role as associate director at GNA. She is a strong believer that architecture should improve the quality of life and wellbeing of all and has developed a particular specialism in inclusive design and dementia-friendly spaces.

Nick has been recognised within the practice for his meticulous approach to each design project. He has acquired over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry across a wide range of projects and sectors which he seeks to bring with him in guiding his team at GNA as associate director.

Nick thrives upon providing innovative strategies whilst working on challenging technical design briefs, ensuring client’s expectations are met and exceeded. He has built a portfolio of experience across all design stages and complexity levels, including healthcare, Residential and Industrial. He is now leading the way in advocating his strategy and methods of working across the practice of which this promotion reinforces this.

Having worked at Glancy Nicholls Architects since the age of 15, Jennifer started working full-time for GNA in August 2010 after graduating from the Manchester School of Architecture. Since that time Jennifer has become a key member of the practice who has worked on numerous large-scale projects, primarily in the residential and care sectors, designing and working on their successful delivery. She has built up a number of key client relationships with developers and in county authorities over the years.

Jennifer has recently been involved in designing the extra care scheme within the Perry Barr Regeneration project and is currently involved with several key commissions moving forward. Her promotion to associate strengthens the GNA team and supports the practice as we embark on prospective projects in 2023 and beyond.

On behalf of all at GNA we congratulate Danielle, Nick and Jennifer on their well-deserved promotions. We recognise their efforts and the talent they have contributed to the practice over the years.

We share their enthusiasm and drive in continuing to push our practice forward with innovative and bold design, delivered with expertise and quality.

The management team warmly welcomes Danni, Nick and Jennie in their new roles, and we look forward another exciting year ahead.
