Working with Regal Property Group, Glancy Nicholls Architects have designed this 30-storey residential tower providing 166 high-quality inner-city apartments, ranging from one to three-bedrooms, and a host of engaging amenities and commercial spaces. The scheme achieved full planning approval in October 2020, following extensive liaison with the City’s Design and Planning Officers.
The design of the tower seeks to exhibit the character of this unique area of Birmingham city centre, with references to the city’s terracotta heritage. The proposal aims to display qualities of low carbon tower design with various technologies being employed to provide a conscientious futureproof addition to Birmingham.
These measures deliver a building that proudly references its place in the city’s narrative but also aims to feature in future chapters of Birmingham’s regeneration story. The project is currently under construction, with the team at GNA delivering the project through to completion in 2023.
