Glancy Nicholls Architects have recently completed the refurbishment of a former further education facility to provide much needed additional general and specialist teaching facilities to cater for secondary school use.
Working in collaboration with Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, the works were split into several carefully planned phases, in order to maintain as little disruption to the live school environment.
The works included additional teaching facilities, extension to dining facilities, provision of a new 6th Form Hub, transformation of existing lecture theatre to provide further flexibility / adaptability, enhancing existing external spaces with new canopies and transforming an existing roof terrace into a social space.
