The Trentham Lakes scheme comprises two sites, Trentham Central and Trentham West. Located at the former Hem Heath Colliery, these sites were two of the few remaining empty plots over the 400-acre site. The project involved creating five industrial and logistic units which follow St Modwen Development’s standard building models.
These units have been designed to provide utmost flexibility to ensure they were let with ease and were occupied as soon as possible. As such, each unit varies in size to meet the differing requirements of potential future tenants. Furthermore, warehouse areas are located on the ground floor of each building, with offices located on the first floor, to create as much usable space as possible.
The offices have been designed with a modern contemporary feel, whilst acting as a blank canvas for those moving into the units. Externally, the units are sat within a well-landscaped area, including secure yards and parking areas which also provide services for electric car charging.
