Morville Street

Located on the junction between Morville Street and Ladywood Middleway, Morville Street Apartments is leading the transformation of the Ladywood regeneration zone in Birmingham, following receipt of full planning approval in November 2021.

The development will provide 80 high-quality city centre apartments distributed across 14 floors. The tower is formed from two distinct stacked blocks creating a key identifiable marker at the entrance to Morville Street. Set back from the Middleway, the kinetic form of the tower allows for the creation of future green infrastructure along this key city arterial route.

Responding to its surrounding context with its crafted red brick façade, the development compliments Birmingham’s historic architectural red brick vernacular with a series of highly crafted brick details articulating the façade.

Situated at the crown of the building is a generous rooftop terrace providing residents with their own private city centre community garden. The garden consists of a light exercise area, vegetable and herb planters, and seating areas offering panoramic city-wide views. At street level, a walled garden is created offering an external space for residents, set back from the street. Internally the building comprises integral residential amenities in the form of a resident’s work-from-home space.

The building will sit proudly within Birmingham’s evolving narrative, and its completion in 2024 paves the way for further regeneration projects in the Ladywood area.
