Glancy Nicholls Architects produced the Masterplan for the Molineux Quarter, drawing together the three main stakeholders; Wolverhampton City Council, Wolverhampton University and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
The vision for the Molineux Campus is to bring forward new development and radically transform the public realm, knitting the Football Club, and university into the fabric of the City Centre. A new large, civic square spans the city ring road to connect the Molineux Quarter to the City Centre and major transport links. Land around the football stadium is currently underutilised and provides the potential for expansion and major new commercial development.
