Contemporary extra-care homes

De Wint Court is a purpose-built complex situated in the Boultham Moor area of Lincoln and comprising 70 extra care apartments, split into 50 one-bed and 20 two-bed apartments for rent.

Residents enjoy the benefits of renting a home, free from the worries of maintenance or gardening and in a community of like-minded over-55s. The beautiful contemporary apartments have built-in security and lifestyle features that simplify the practicalities of day-to-day life. De Wint Court offers flexible on-site care and support packages for those that need them, a restaurant serving the local community and a hair and beauty salon without going outside the development.

With a growth in the number of older people in Lincolnshire, Glancy Nicholls Architects were appointed to address the need for suitable accommodation to provide care and support required for an ageing population.

A flagship scheme for the City Council, the new development is highly energy efficient, warm, light, and safe, with fresh, friendly surroundings designed to ensure privacy, dignity and independence are maintained. De Wint Court provides a building that is resident-focused, welcoming, and domestic in style and scale, accessible, and inclusive. This community-centred development positively encourages family and friends to visit, creating a lively balanced community of older people.

GNA always performed incredibly well, giving gentle guidance where appropriate, they seem to know what we want even when we are not sure ourselves.
