Flexible Employment Units

The proposal, commissioned by Goold Estates Ltd. Is for the development of a vacant, previously developed site within Bilston for a mix of flexible employment units (B2/B8/E(g)(iii) uses) and ancillary offices, together with car parking, yards, and associated landscape works. The employment units will comprise of 5 no. buildings split into units of varying sizes to accommodate a variety of local business requirements.

The employment related uses aim to integrate within the broader site masterplan for Bilston Urban Village. The layout and site arrangement of the units have been carefully considered in respect to the relationship with the adjacent Ecological Park/ Nature Reserve. During our design development of the scheme the largest unit (unit 15) was moved easterly to allow for a sufficient space for screening.

Building materials have been chosen to ensure building durability and longevity. High quality cladding and external finishes have been proposed to ensure the buildings reflect the projects aims and ambitions.
