Aidan Astle

Aidan is a confident and proficient Architect with almost a decade’s experience working at Glancy Nicholls. In January 2022, he was promoted to Associate. Aidan has a passion for innovation and placemaking, applying his knowledge across all project scales from large masterplanning projects to the technical detailing of smaller schemes. He also has a specialism in Sustainability, heading up GNA’s Sustainability group, advising on Passivhaus principles and helping to drive the practice's green agenda.


Aidan currently leads a team working on several key masterplanning and regeneration projects across the West Midlands. Recently, his role has seen him design and deliver several high-quality projects within the higher education and residential sectors. He ensures all his designs are embedded in their context, working hard to understand the history and spirit of a place to create sustainable communities.
