The Ladywood Indicative Vision was a large urban regeneration concept covering 60 hectares in an inner-city residential area close to Birmingham City Centre. The scheme sought to create a family-focused, inclusive neighbourhood, delivering the next generation of city-centre living, with over 6000 quality dwellings in a range of typologies including family housing, apartments, specialist residential and student accommodation. Proposals, which are for illustrative purposes only, centred around a new green urban strategy placing public parks and green/blue open space at the heart of neighbourhoods, with community facilities, schools, retail and amenities designed around inclusive and accessible community hearts.
