After working with Travelodge on a previous scheme, Glancy Nicholls Architects were commissioned by LPC Living to carry out the Architectural duties for a Travelodge and Aparthotel in Hackney. The scheme is located on a very compact site, and is adjacent to Hackney Central Overground station on Amhurst Road.
The Travelodge and Aparthotel has three retail units at the ground floor level. Currently, these units are occupied by TK Maxx and Costa which are open and trading. Above the ground floor, the accommodation is split between two wings. One comprises the 80-bed Travelodge Hotel, spread over six floors. The second wing houses the Aparthotel, across five floors.
