The Falcons Free School scheme, delivered for the Education Funding Agency, comprised the provision of a refurbishment to a Grade II listed building as well as an element of new-build.

A new housing development in the area required the capacity of the school to expand, therefore Glancy Nicholls Architects were appointed as Lead Architect to allow the primary school to increase its number of pupils to 420. The school itself is a Sikh school; a two-form entry, non-selective community primary for children aged 4 – 11.

The new building provides a sports/dining hall, a kitchen, 8 classrooms, a library/ICT area and studio space, as well as adequate external play throughout the site.
