A single form entry school in Tamworth, surrounded predominately by residential properties and benefiting from a playing field to the south. The existing school is a typical mid-1960s primary school.

The school lacked a clear entrance and had inadequate office/administration facilities. Increased pupil numbers have resulted in some teaching being carried out in the hall and paired year groups. The school therefore required additional teaching areas to ensure the correct teaching environment was provided.

The development included a new build extension of 2 classrooms and an internal refurbishment and remodelling of the existing main reception/entrance and staff administration office.
