Glancy Nicholls Architects together with Igloo developed a number of regeneration proposals on behalf of the former Advantage West Midlands. Igloo’s focus was to forge development opportunities within the public sector and partnerships set against the mantra of creating well-designed, environmentally sustainable regeneration projects.
One of the proposals was Bromsgrove Technology Park in Worcestershire. We developed low carbon footprint buildings massing and sitting each building to respond to the constraints of the site with careful use of sustainable materials. The development reviewed modular and high Tech architecture, reflecting the “technology corridor” identified by the Local Authority. Strong pedestrian and public transport routes where designed to support the green agenda.
