Glancy Nicholls Architects have developed a strong portfolio of master planning and urban regeneration. The site at Argyle Works is located in Eastside Birmingham and is one of the practices examples of Inner City regeneration.
The 7.5-acre site is located on the edge of the emerging eastside quarter. Argyle works offers a catalyst for the regeneration of the area and with the successful delivery of this site will make the connection with eastside and the city beyond richer, with greater accessibility to services and connectivity. The re-use of the listed building will ensure a sympathetic development, maintaining and enhancing its character and appearance. Furthermore, the proposed development of the remaining site will respond to, and be consistent with, the Local Authorities urban design and sustainable development principles.
