Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, together with Arup’s appointed Glancy Nicholls Architects to masterplan and design the re-development of the ageing Rushden hospital site. The aim was to seek outline-planning consent for the erection of a purpose built NHS Resource Centre and associated development comprising new residential units, including the conversion of the existing main house to residential use

The capital receipt from the sale of surplus land will enable the delivery of the proposed Resource Centre. Funding for the delivery of the Resource Centre is dependent upon sufficient value being captured through the sale of land surplus to the requirements of the Trust.
