One of four developments caring for older adults in Birmingham, the accommodation has been developed in consultation with several specialists in the field of dementia friendly design, enabling users to extend their independence.

The project also includes facilities for the community use, including; full restaurant, Café, hair dresser, activity rooms, prayer room, full production kitchen, multi-media centre, interactive technology store, gym, physiotherapy, consultancy rooms, and chiropody.

Roof mounted solar panels can generate up to 25% of the hot water requirements of the entire building, the use of energy efficient duel fuel boilers and a highly insulated external envelope result in the buildings far exceeding regulations of the time.
