This new school sits within the grounds of the existing Coppice School in a wooded area of Sutton Coldfield nr. Birmingham. A phased development the first phase was built while the existing school remained in use. Phase 2 involves the demolition of the existing school to make way for the new building.

This project brings together mainstream and special educational needs infants and junior schools with pre-school nursery facilities. The design incorporates a zinc external skin which wraps around the walls and roof, while the internals, windows and wall penetrations are in timber.
