Glancy Nicholls Architects (Projects) Ltd were appointed as executive Architects for the construction stage of Parwich Village Hall. The proposal consists of a main activity hall supported by elements of accommodation necessary for its efficient functioning whilst maximising the flexibility and range of activities a village hall can support for the local community.

Careful choice of materials and sensitive detailing were paramount on this project due to its location within the Peak National Park. Traditional building techniques were used alongside sustainable design which incorporated renewable energies, natural ventilation and rainwater harvesting.
