Patrick Nicholls
Director
Patrick is a founding Director of Glancy Nicholls Architects; he is responsible for the management and operation of the practice including finance. He oversees the management of project teams, and he takes an active role in ensuring the continued high quality design and delivery of all building projects throughout GNA, which is key to the Practice’s ethos.
He has over 20 years experience in successfully delivering completed buildings in a number of sectors including education, health care, social care, dementia care, commercial, residential and industrial. Since setting up GNA, Patrick has had a key role in a number of new build and refurbishment projects within Birmingham and the UK, including a £20m extra care housing scheme with dementia care in South Derbyshire, a £40m residential project for Warwickshire County Council and several refurbishment projects in the higher education sector.
Patrick was a visiting tutor at Birmingham School of Architecture and Chairman of West Midlands RIBA Education Committee from 2000 to 2003. In 2004 Patrick was Chairman of the West Midlands RIBA Committee.
