Yang Hayward
Architectural Assistant
Yang joined Glancy Nicholls Architects in 2006 following her completion of a RIBA Part I Batchelor of Architecture degree at the University of Nottingham.
Whilst working at Glancy Nicholls Architects Yang completed a 3 year RIBA Part II part-time Postgraduate diploma at Birmingham City University and was awarded a commendation. During this period Yang has gained experience in a range of projects including care centres, schools and offices. Yang was the project lead for The Elms Nursery (University of Birmingham), which was completed on 21st September 2009 and has gained experience of all the RIBA work stages from A-L. She has worked collaboratively with the Client and all stakeholders in delivering a high quality and sympathetic design within the Edgbaston conservation area.
Yang is currently working on a primary school for Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, which she will develop through to completion in Easter 2013 as part of a D&B contract. She is also working towards completing her RIBA Part III in order gain professional chartership.
